Sardinia Vertical

8 days total | 6 days of climbing | 2 days of travel

South-West Sardinia is a particularly suitable destination for climbing in autumn: in November, the climate is still mild, the rock is dry, and the crowds are significantly reduced compared to the summer season. The area around Iglesias, with crags such as Masua and Nebida, offers high-quality limestone, a wide variety of routes, and the possibility to choose the best exposure each day depending on the conditions, climbing either in the sun or in the shade.

The program includes six days of climbing, organized flexibly to adapt both to the weather and to the participants’ level. The days are structured by alternating more intense climbing sessions with recovery phases, with the aim of making the experience sustainable and productive throughout the entire trip. The presence of a guide allows for focused work on technical aspects such as movement, energy management, route reading, and personal progression, without losing sight of the enjoyment of climbing.

The trip is open to everyone, from beginners to more experienced climbers. The crag environment makes it easy to tailor the experience: grade, type of routes, and working pace can all be adjusted according to individual abilities and goals. Having different levels within the group is not a limitation but an added value, as it creates continuous exchange and enriches the overall experience.

From a logistical point of view, the organization is straightforward: arrival is planned at the Cagliari Elmas Airport, from which Iglesias can be reached in about one hour. From there, daily transfers will be arranged to the various crags in the area, all easily accessible. In this context, November represents an ideal time to experience Sardinia in a quieter and more authentic way, with a slower pace and favorable conditions for climbing.

ACCOMODATION

Accommodation will be in a cozy and comfortable bed & breakfast, located in one of the most scenic spots of Nebida, a seaside village in South-West Sardinia. The property features double bedrooms (with either twin beds or a double bed), a spacious fully equipped kitchen, and a sunny terrace—ideal for relaxing after a day of climbing.

The spaces are shared, but each participant will have their own single bed. The atmosphere is simple, well-kept, and designed to offer a genuine and convivial experience.

The kitchen allows everyone to organize their own breakfast and dinner independently (lunch will generally be shared together at the crag).
